For those of you who are experienced collectors&#8212;correct me if I\u2019m wrong. I learned is that there are three different ways to identify pure Sterling Silver, number one is pretty obvious:<\/p>\n<p>Look for the name Sterling Silver on the silverware or silver piece.<\/p>\n<p>Two: genuine Sterling Silver is also identified by the number 925 stamped on the silver piece, and<\/p>\n<p>Three: Sterling Silverware can be identified by a Lion Symbol stamped on the silver piece\u00a0(with the lion looking to the left).<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re like me I really don\u2019t have a particular antique or collectible I\u2019m searching for, like silverware, but it helps to know the above signs just in case.
